Do you want to become Certified?

The Wholeness Work Coach Training is one of the key steps to become certified as a Wholeness Work Coach. You are welcome to join the Wholeness Work Coach Training, whether or not you want to become certified.

Below is the complete pathway to become Certified as a Wholeness Coach …

Wholeness Work Coach

The Steps to becoming Certified

We take certification as a Wholeness Work coach seriously. We want this certification to mean something to new clients seeking Wholeness Work – that they can count on you as a capable guide. Being the best guide happens when we understand Wholeness Work through our experience – it’s more than just understanding at an intellectual level. We can be the best guides when we have experienced Wholeness Work ourselves, and experienced the presuppositions of Wholeness Work revealing themselves to us through our practice.

Each step toward your certification as a Wholeness Work Coach is designed to support you in gaining the experience that will lead to you being an effective and capable coach. Here are the steps…

1. Participate in Wholeness Work Trainings Levels I – IV at least twice

The Why: The deep principles of Wholeness Work are best absorbed through experience. Participating several times will give you a broader range of experience and skill. In each training, the demonstrations go differently, and unique participants ask different questions about their process. This reveals through example how to guide unique individuals through the WW formats.

The What: To be certified as a coach, we want you to participate in a Live training of each level, at least once. (Either Live Online, or Live In Person.) This helps us get to know you and gives you opportunity for live support. After your first time through a Live training, you are eligible for the 50% alumni discount. Most coaches find 3 times through is valuable, and this is encouraged though not required for certification.

Optional: Assisting for the Wholeness Work trainings. This can also enrich your experience. The assisting team is drawn from people who have already gone through the Wholeness Work series at least twice. (There are limited spots for assisting, and you can apply to assist by emailing Connirae.)

2. Self-Practice

We encourage you to begin “self practice” as soon as you start your first Wholeness Work training.  Your personal experience doing Wholeness Work forms an essential foundation for being able to guide someone else.

Practice Record: We ask Wholeness Coaches-in-training to keep a 90 day self-practice record. (You can do this as a continuous 90 days of practice, or in up to 3 segments.) Your practice record can be simple. Please include the date, approximate total time of practice (Your practice time might range from 10 mins to a longer time, and it’s ok to estimate.). Please include a brief note re: what format(s) you used. If you wish, you can add more notes, for example sharing what was your starting place or focus of practice, what you noticed re: the experience of integration this time, or the results for you.

The Coaches Manual you receive as part of the Coaches training will include suggestions for possible useful topics to use for deep self practice.

Self-Practice beyond the 90 days. If you choose, of course you can continue the self practice beyond the 90 days. Many people wanting to be a Wholeness Coach will find it natural to do this, and it will both have personal benefits for you, and significantly enrich your ability to be a skilled Wholeness Coach. Many Wholeness Work Coaches use Wholeness Work as a daily (or at least regular) practice.

3. Wholeness Work Coach Training

Participate in the Wholeness Work Coach Live-Online Training – at least once.

i)   Attend the Training Sessions Personally

If you want to be certified, it’s important that you participate in the training live, rather than just watch recordings of each session. It’s Live Online so you can join from wherever you are. We want you to be there, and participate in each exercise live, so we can get to know you, and you can receive maximum benefit. If you’re not able to do this, and want certification, talk to us about it in advance.]

ii) Peer Exchange of sessions - outside of class time

As part of the Coach training, you’ll exchange 5 sessions with other participants. We’ll pair you with other participants, and you’ll arrange to do this session exchange at a time convenient to you both. Because everyone has been through the full Wholeness Work training series, you are encouraged to draw upon any of the Wholeness Work formats in these sessions. In the Coach training, you’ll receive guidelines for how to discern which formats might be most useful with a particular person, at a particular time.

Exchange of Feedback: Part of the value of these peer sessions is that you also will be exchanging feedback. (with guidelines for kind and constructive sharing of feedback)

This feedback can have particular value coming from others with significant Wholeness Work background. You can help each other refine and develop skills, as you also benefit from the personal results that come from quality guiding.

Record Keeping: You’ll be asked to record these peer sessions in a google doc set up for this purpose.

iii) Sessions with New People

Each coach in training will do 10 sessions guiding people who have no prior experience with Wholeness Work. [We will assist you in finding your 10 people to coach.]

[You’ll be asked to record these sessions in a google doc set up to track your sessions.]

4. Review & Feedback of your client sessions - 2 session recordings

The final step for you to become certified is to submit 2 recordings of client sessions, for review and feedback. This is a unique opportunity for you to receive suggestions and tips to support your evolving skill as a Wholeness Work Coach. It’s also an opportunity for us to see how you are using Wholeness Work.

  • 1 session with a client new to Wholeness Work.
  • 1 session with an ongoing client. [You might choose a third or 5th or 10th session.]

Session reviews will be done by our most experienced Wholeness Work Trainers & mentors. Some may be done by Connirae. [The Wholeness Coach Certification Application fee includes the two session reviews.]

You will gain the most from these reviews if you pick sessions where you have questions and would like input.

5. Additional Training Required for Certification

  • Core Transformation Foundation Training &
  • Advanced Core Transformation Training
  • Recommended but not required: the CT Coach Certification Training

Wholeness Work and Core Transformation support each other in getting best results with clients. They both work at a deep level of change. If you want to be an effective Coach for a wide range of people, there will be many times when your clients will need Core Transformation first, before they’re able to fully benefit from Wholeness Work.

For this reason, we want Certified Wholeness Work Coaches to also have a background in Core Transformation. You can get this background either before or after you get your training in Wholeness Work.

The Core Transformation Foundation Training, and Advanced Core Transformation, are requirements to become a Certified Wholeness Work Coach. The Core Transformation Coach Certification is recommended but not required for you to become certified as a Wholeness Work coach.

The CT Coach Certification program contains detailed modules on Coaching at a “deep level” of change, that apply to both Wholeness Work coaching and Core Transformation coaching. (It includes modules on how to navigate the full coaching journey, including initial sessions, middle sessions, and closing sessions; modules on working with specific topics such as depression, trauma, etc.). We won’t be repeating these modules in the Wholeness Work Coach Certification training. However, they will be useful for you to have. The CT Coach Cert program will add to your general coach skills, plus add depth to your ability to be effective with CT, as a companion method to WW.
